This is a sporterized Arisaka, most likely a Type 38 in 6.5×50mm Japanese, offered in great overall condition. The stock has been sporterized but remains solid—there are no major cracks or breaks, making it a good candidate for restoration or continued use as-is. The metal components are in excellent condition, showing strong bluing and clean surfaces with minimal wear. Mechanically, the rifle is sound and ready to shoot with proper ammunition.
The package includes reloading dies and a batch of fresh, unfired brass, a thoughtful addition given how rare .30-06 ammunition is hard to find. These will allow you to produce your own 6.5 Japanese ammo—an increasingly popular solution as factory loads are often scarce and expensive.
