Everyone who knows anything about firearms knows the Remington 700 as being one of the most common bolt actions on the planet. One of the least common versions of the 700 are the 700 Safari. They made these rifles specifically to take on hunts where there will be dangerous game as a way to put them down in the event that they decide to charge. They made them in a variety of calibers from .375 H&H all the way up to .416 Remington Magnum. The .416 was not nearly as common as the .375 was looked at as the best all around caliber for these rifles. That being said, you can still find ammo for the .416 on the internet relatively easily so if someone wanted to use this for it’s intended purpose, they definitely will be able to. This rifle is in extremely good shape. All the bluing is still nice and clean and the wood only has minor dents and dings in a couple spots. The pictures don’t do the bluing justice as it is still bright enough where you can see your reflection in it. The next owner of this rifle will have an absolutely awesome rifle.
