Offered for sale is a Winchester Model 1892 chambered in .25-20 WCF, manufactured in 1913. This is a true early 20th-century lever-action rifle and a classic example of one of Winchester’s most respected designs.
The Model 1892, originally designed by John Browning, is known for its smooth action, strength, and compact handling. Chambered in .25-20 WCF, it was a popular small-game and varmint cartridge of the era, offering light recoil and practical field performance.
This rifle shows a decent amount of exterior wear, consistent with over a century of honest use. The finish has thinned and worn, giving it authentic character without signs of abuse or refinishing. Mechanically, it is rock solid. The action cycles smoothly and locks up properly. The bore still retains a solid amount of life, making this a functional rifle rather than just a display piece.
