Browning A-Bolts are one of the more popular rifles that they have made in the past 50 years. The short throw on the bolt combined with the great performance in the field made it an excellent choice for a variety of hunters. This model came factory with the B.O.S.S. Accuracy System on the barrel which essentially plays with harmonics of the barrel to allow the shooter a wider variety of grain weights to shoot accurately. For a full breakdown on that, I recommend googling it and try to follow the science on it. This particular rifle will come exactly as pictured with the laminate thumbhole stock as well as the Nikon Monarch scope up top. Overall it is in great shape. The stainless isn’t as shiny as when it left the factory but that is pretty normal considering it is a coarse finish.The bore is in excellent shape and the stock shows little to no signs of wear as if it wasn’t carried in the woods once this stock was installed.
