This pistol is essentially a rebuilt Colt 1911 that has been placed on an Essex Frame. This was a very common way of rebuilding the 1911A1 once the military 1911s were retired from service and the frames were shot. This specific one is in great shape with very little wear on the frame. All of the parkerized finish is in great shape and doesn't show much wear either, mostly just some lighter areas that are smoothed over. It does come with a couple extra magazines with one of them being a genuine Colt magazine and a soft case.
