CVA is one of the best manufacturers of single shot rifles on the market. Nowadays CVA makes the Scout but before that there was the Hunter. These have everything you need and nothing you don’t. These rifles came factory with fiber optic iron sights but the previous owner installed a scope mount for a 1” tube, so the next owner can easily attach a scope without having to buy a bunch of extra parts. For the money, you really can’t get anything better or more capable. This rifle is very compact and lightweight and would be perfect for any hunter of any size. I don’t believe this rifle has ever been fired since there are no powder burns on the muzzle and the bore is extremely clean. There are some very minor scuffs in the stock from being moved around every now and then but nothing that indicates any genuine wear.
